Jeep PH shares 10 reasons to love Grand Cherokee L

Jeep Philippines, under the management of IC Automotive Inc., shared 10 reasons to like the  Grand Cherokee L, and why it can make for a great road-trip chariot. So if you’re in the market for a luxury SUV that can fit the entire family, then you better pay attention.

3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine w/ Engine Start-Stop

According to the brand, the 3.6-liter V6 heart of the Grand Cherokee L is a huge highlight of its appeal. At the most, it can make up to 282 horsepower and 344 Nm of torque. Power is then managed by an eight-speed automatic gearbox. It also gets an engine start-stop (ESS) system which the brand says can increase efficiency by automatically shutting off the vehicle during a stop.

Jeep adds that the Grand Cherokee L is also quite tech-forward. This is thanks to its 10.25-inch digital cluster which can feed important driving information directly to the driver. Paired with the touchscreen display is a nine-piece Alpine audio system which Jeep says is perfect for in-car jam session. The vehicle also has a FamCam feature allowing for easier communication between the vehicle’s occupants.

If your rearview is blocked by passengers or cargo, Jeep adds that its digital rearview mirror can easily solve that. With a push of a button, it can display a video feed of the rear of the vehicle making for easier parking and maneuvering in tight corners.

7-Seater Capacity and Leather Seats

As mentioned above, Jeep considers the Grand Cherokee L as a family-friendly ride. This is thanks to its three rows of leather-clad seating. Plus, the seats can be re-arranged in multiple configurations making the interior more versatile.

According to the American brand, the Jeep Grand Cherokee L has a cargo space of 487 liters with the third-row seats up. Fold down the second and third-row seats, then it can expand its cargo capacity up to 2,395 liters. Jeep says this is great for stowing away golf bags, suitcases, or even camping equipment.

Adaptive Cruise Control with Stop & Go

A relaxing driving experience is provided by the Grand Cherokee L via its adaptive cruise control with a stop-and-go function. The latter automatically adjusts your speed to maintain a safe distance from the vehicle ahead.

The Grand Cherokee L’s unibody construction, the brand says, is another quality to like about this model. It is promised to be both strong and lightweight thanks to being composed of 60 percent high-strength steel.

Quadra-Trac I 4WD System

Last but not least, Jeep places the Grand Cherokee L as a highly capable, all-weather vehicle due to its Quadra-Trac 4x4 system. This can optimize one’s driving experience on slippery terrain, and when the going gets tough, it can also work in conjunction with a brake lock differential for even more traction.
