The muscular yet sleek design of the Suburban is paired with functional elements incorporated into its aesthetic. Its chrome grille is accentuated by LED headlamps as standard across the range. Both variants of the SUV are also equipped with Rainsense variable and intermittent front wipers.

Other lighting features include LED high mount stop lamp, power-adjustable side mirrors with a heating function, ground illumination, front fog lamps, and auto-dimming taillamps.

The interior of the Suburban 2023 is equally refined with a cabin decked in jet black theme, with additional clove trims for the tops-spec variant. Seats of both variants are upholstered in leather. The High Country variant comes with a 12-way driver adjustability while the Z71 variant has a 10-way driver seat adjustability.

The Suburban comes in two seating configuration options which are 2-3-3 and 2-2-3 for the entry-level and top-of-the-line variants, respectively. Second and third-row seats can be folded flat to make room for a maximum of 4,097 liters of cargo space.

The Suburban Philippines is equipped with tri-zone automatic climate control with individual climate settings for the driver, the front passenger, and the rear passenger. On the console are a power sliding function, and a driver information center (DIC) with an 8-inch display and heads-up display. Audio comes out of a Bose 9-speaker with a subwoofer or a Bose 10-speaker surround sound for the Z71 and High Country variants, respectively. The top range variant also comes with a wireless charging panel and a push start/stop button for added convenience.

Chevrolet packaged the Suburban with extensive safety features such as remote keyless entry, remote starting system, rear vision camera, tire pressure monitoring system, adaptive cruise control, lane change assist with lane departure warning, automatic emergency braking, StabiliTrak, park assist sensors, and an anti-lock braking system, to name a few.

The 5-door full-size SUV comes in a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout. It rides on a GMT T1XX platform powered by a 5.3L EcoTec3 engine. It has a magnetic ride control system that is Corvette-inspired. Stopping power comes from ventilated disc brakes in both front and rear.

The Chevrolet Suburban is powered by a 5.3-liter EcoTec3 V8 gasoline engine with active fuel management, direct injection, and variable valve timing. It can produce a maximum of 355 hp and 518 Nm of torque that is able to combine performance and fuel economy without compromising its power and towing ability. A 10-speed automatic transmission is attached to the engine.
