Honda addresses the long HR-V wait list in the Philippines

It was in November 2022 when HCPI shared with Philkotse that the Japanese automaker aims to normalize the supply by February this year. Like any other automaker, Honda was affected by the global parts shortage that resulted in a long wait list for cars such as the HR-V. It may have taken a while but at least the company now has a stable supply for the local market.

Interested individuals can choose one from three Honda HR-V variants available locally – S, V Turbo, and RS Turbo.

Exterior-wise, the HR-V S and V Turbo come with 17-inch alloy wheels albeit the latter has a gray finish. The top-of-the-line HR-V RS Turbo boasts a set of 18-inch RS design alloy wheels, along with sporty RS-exclusive bits including a new grille and bumper with a red accent.

Inside, the crossover gets standard ULT seats, which gives passengers flexibility in cargo space. Also standard is the eight-inch infotainment touchscreen with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The top-spec variant pairs the said system with an eight-speaker system including four tweeters.

The Honda Sensing is also standard across the range. It provides advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) functions such as adaptive cruise control, collision mitigation braking system, lane keeping assist system, and lead car departure notification, among others.

While the 1.5-liter DOHC VTEC engine is standard, only the V Turbo and RS Turbo offer a turbocharged version. The non-turbo HR-V S can generate 119 horsepower and 145 Nm of torque, while the turbocharged variants deliver 175 horsepower and 240 Nm of torque. Regardless of the engine setup, a continuously variable transmission (CVT) is used across the board.

Now is the ideal time to avail of a Honda HR-V amid the stable supply of units. HCPI is offering the HR-V S for Php 1,389,000, the HR-V V Turbo for Php 1,649,000, and the HR-V RS Turbo for Php 1,739,000. The optional premium opal white silver pearl and platinum white pearl can be availed of for an additional Php 20,000.
