The Hyundai Ioniq 5 N NPX1 concept features several N Performance parts or body kits that will soon be available in the market. Finished in black exterior paint, the concept EV looks sleek and at the same time aggressive–thanks to the N Performance kits fitted to it.

The concept comes with restyled fender flares, a revamped front bumper, and a redesigned side skirt. At the back, the design change is more evident since the Ioniq 5 N NPX1 concept has a massive rear diffuser as well as a more prominent spoiler.

Hyundai shared that the N Performance parts fitted to the Ioniq 5 N NPX1 concept are the following: carbon front splitter, side skirts, rear diffuser, rear wing spoiler, lightweight hybrid carbon wheels, high-performance brake pads, and lowering springs. Of note, the N logo can be seen on the side skirts and rear spoiler.

The Korean automaker added that the Hyundai Ioniq 5 N NPX1 concept’s interior is enhanced with Alcantara material and racing bucket seats.

Hyundai said that the body kits fitted on the NPX1 concept will be further developed for production in preparation for sale sometime this year. Hyundai N will expand the availability of the N Performance parts starting with the Ioniq 5 N, and will eventually spread across all N models.

“In 2024, Hyundai Motor Company will take a step forward as a leader in new tuning parts suitable for the high-performance EV era as demonstrated with the ‘NPX1’ concept model,” N Brand Management Group Vice President Joon Park said.

“Not limited to tuning parts, we are also developing software customization such as sound and vehicle calibration by OTA updates which will open a completely new category of EV customization for an exciting future ahead for the tuning community,” Park added.
