The refreshed 2024 Hyundai Tucson
On the outside, the updated Hyundai Tucson gets a beefier lower bumper, making it a bit more aggressive-looking. Also updated are its grille-integrated LED daytime running lamps, which now sport rounder shapes. Its grille meanwhile, likewise sports a sleeker pattern employing straighter lines.
From the side and rear, however, nothing has changed. It still gets the eye-catching angular character lines on its flanks. The brand didn’t show the vehicle’s rear section that much in the released pictures, but it appears that its faux skid plate is now more prominent.
A majority of the changes on this facelift are found inside the cockpit. For starters, the dashboard was made flatter and straighter to accommodate a panoramic touchscreen display. The latter consists of a digital gauge cluster, which seamlessly connects to a new central touchscreen infotainment system.
It gets a totally redesigned interior
The change of the dashboard’s overall shape also allowed the brand to turn the Tucson’s air-conditioning (AC) vents into one continuous line. Likewise added were physical knobs for its AC temperature and audio volume controls.
The wireless smartphone charging pad was also repositioned to where the gear selector buttons were used to be. Gear changing on the updated Tucson meanwhile, is now done via a new stalk mounted on the side of the steering column. Last but not least for the interior is a new three-spoke steering wheel.
