On the outside, the Mirage hatchback for the Philippine market is sized to compete against other city cars available in the modern market. Exterior features for both variants include halogen headlamps, halogen tailights, and a set of 14-inch alloy wheels. The top-spec GLX 1.2 CVT variant also comes with front fog lamps, and rear spoiler.

As a whole, the interior of the Philippine-Mirage is given a black theme. Most of the dashboard and interior door cards are made out of sturdy plastic, and the its seats are clad in fabric. To keep its occupants comfortable, the Mitsubishi-made hatch comes standard with a manual air-conditioning system. For the driver, the Mirage's steering wheel is also covered in urethane, and it can be adjusted via tilt.

Positioned on the dash of the Philippine-spec Mirage is a 6.75-Inch Multimedia Touchscreen. This screen is capable of connecting to smartphones via Bluetooth, USB, or Aux-in. It can also connect to an iPod. Sound is then handled by a two-piece speaker system.

For the driver, the Mirage Philippines features a turn-key iginition switch, a digital trip computer, and an analog gauge cluster.

The Mitsubishi Mirage for the Philippines is a five-seater, five-door model. It also has a front-engine, front-wheel-drive layout. At most, the CVT version of the model weight in at 1,310 kg. The manual version is a bit lighter at 1,280 kg. 

In terms of suspension, the Mitsubishi-made hatchback uses a MacPherson strut front suspension, and a torsion beam type rear suspension. Braking is handled by a drum brake for the rear, and ventilated discs for the front. It also uses a manual, hand-operated handbrake. 

Size-wise, both variants of the Mirage in the Philippines has a length of 3,795mm, a width of 1,665 mm, and a height of 1,500 mm. It also has a ground clearance of 160mm.

Under the hood, both trims of the Philippine-spec Mitsubishi Mirage uses a 1.2-liter inline-3 DOHC MIVEC gasoline engine. The said engine can produce up to 77 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. Power is sent to the front wheels via a five-speed manual, or a CVT.
