Mitsubishi Motors Philippines Corporation (MMPC) introduced the new Mirage G4 GLS Black Series as a limited edition.

The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 GLS Black Series is built on the facelift version, which made its Philippine debut last August 2021. With the limited edition, you can drive a subcompact sedan that looks more stylish with enhancements inside and out, on top of the dynamic shield front fascia integrated last year.
“When it comes to our customers, we are all ears in order for us to meet their expectations. For the Mirage G4, the target market, being cool and practical at the same time are their major considerations. With the introduction of this new limited edition model, we want to give our customers more options to best represent their personality,” said MMPC President and CEO Takeshi Hara.
The dynamic shield front fascia gets a makeover
Exterior-wise, the Black Series edition adds a front grille red accent similar to versions overseas. It also provides a touch of sportiness on the vehicle’s dynamic shield. As the name suggests, the limited variant has been equipped with black side mirrors and a set of 16-inch black alloy wheels.
The interior also gets enhancements highlighted by the blue LED illumination for the floor and center console. Further elevating the center console is a new center armrest that drivers can now use for comfort. Another interior feature included in the package is a truck luggage tray.

No changes have been made under the hood as the Mirage G4 Black Edition is still powered by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder MIVEC engine good for 76 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. Since it is based on the GLS variant, the Black Series has a continuously variable transmission (CVT), a keyless entry system, an engine push start system, and a welcome home and coming home light.
One spruced-up sedan
Limited to 150 units only, MMPC is offering the Mirage G4 GLS Black Series for Php 899,000. It is available in two colors: Titanium Gray Metallic and Red Metallic. If you couldn’t make the first 150 customer list, you might fancy the Montero Sport and Strada in their own versions of the Black Series treatment.
