By now, most of you will know that the simple but economical 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 is a popular model in the local market. Now, Mitsubishi Philippines has given the Mirage G4 added style points by launching the limited edition GLS Sport trim.
The Mitsubishi Mirage G4 GLS Sport
As its name implies, this new variant of the Mirage G4 GLS Sport looks a bit sportier-looking than the other variants. This is thanks to the addition of several exterior pieces like a front air dam, a rear air dam, a side air dam, a rear lip spoiler, as well as an under-grille garnish decorated with a chrome strip.
Inside, it largely mirrors the set of features available to the Mirage G4 GLS. It comes kitted out with automatic air-conditioning, a push-to-start button, and a leather-wrapped steering wheel.
Like the other Mirage G4 trims, it then comes standard with a seven-inch Smartphone-link Display Audio system linked to a four-piece speaker set. This headunit has Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Bluetooth, as well as USB connectivity.

Under the hood, the Mirage G4 GLS Sport still uses the same 1.2-liter inline-3 gasoline engine utilized by the other Mirage G4 trims. At maximum, this three-banger can produce 76 horsepower and 100 Nm of torque. It is also front-wheel-drive, and it also uses a continuously variable transmission (CVT).
There are no changes with this new trim’s safety kit as well. As standard, it gets anti-lock braking with electronic brake-force distribution, ISOFIX child seat tethers, dual-front airbags, and a brake override system.
The Mirage G4 GLS Sport's rear end
If you like the look of the 2022 Mitsubishi Mirage G4 GLS Sport, then be aware that it retails for Php 929,000. Of note, only 300 units of this variant will be available in the market. It is available in three colors which are Titanium Gray Metallic, Red Metallic and Cool Silver Metallic.
Along with the Mirage G4 GLS Sport though, is a 2-year free PMS with sanitation service. This comes as a freebie for every purchase until the end of February.
