Mitsubishi Motor Philippines Corporation (MMPC) announced that it successfully turned over two units of its L300 to the Santa Rosa local government.
MMPC donates two L300s to Santa Rosa LGU
The turned-over units will be used by the LGU for its logistical and transportation requirements. In turn, the vehicles can aid the communities in Laguna which is in line with the Japanese automaker’s commitment to enriching the lives of Filipinos under the “Life Made Better” slogan.
One of the characteristics that the Mitsubishi L300 boasts is its reliability, which has been tested by Filipinos throughout the years. Many local businesses continue to use the L300 as their trusted goods hauler as Japanese commercial vehicle (CV) relentlessly delivers for them with ease.
That is made possible with the vehicle’s 2.2-liter Euro 4-compliant diesel engine capable of generating 98 horsepower and 200 Nm of torque. MMPC claims that the said power unit is 10 percent more fuel efficient as compared to its predecessor, which is a vital factor amid the high fuel prices in today’s time.
The L300s will aid the communities in and around Santa Rosa
The company proved the reliability and dependability of the CV after it rolled out the 200,000th PH-made L300 in 2020. Now, the two turnover L300 units will serve as the helping hands of the Santa Rosa local government, ensuring that the LGU can attend to the needs of its community.
“From taxes paid to employment opportunities, the corporate social responsibility program of the automotive manufacturing industry has contributed immensely to the capacity and capability of the city government to provide continuous services for our constituents. Thank you very much, MMPC,” said Hon. Mayor Arlene B. Arcillas.
On MMPC President and CEO Mr. Takeshi Hara’s part, he said, “we at MMPC are committed to make every Filipino’s life better. Together with the Santa Rosa LGU, we aim to contribute to the lives of the Filipino people by providing reliable mobility solutions.”
