Founded in 1986, Autech has been working on customizing various Nissan models throughout the years. The Nissan Kicks e-Power Autech comes with the customizing division’s signature Blue, along with other enhancements that provide the subcompact crossover a sportier appearance.

Metallic silver trims are added throughout the body of the vehicle. This trim is said to be inspired by the “sparkle of waves when hitting the sun.” Meanwhile, a set of newly-designed 17-inch glossy black alloy wheels provides a modern look.

Moving into the interior, the cabin features a two-tone black and blue theme. The use of piano black accents further enhances the sporty appeal of the vehicle. To make it distinct from the standard model, the sportier version gets the Autech badge.

For the Kicks e-Power Autech launched at the 2023 BIMS, Nissan added a wireless charger to the equipment list, which is a new feature in the 2023 model.

The crossover comes with the e-Power tech that exclusively uses an electric motor to propel the front wheels. It has 134 horsepower and 280 Nm of torque. Powering the motor is a 2.06 kWh lithium-ion battery, which is charged by a 1.2-liter 3-cylinder international combustion engine.

With the Nissan Kicks e-Power Autech made available in Thailand, we could be seeing a preview of the PH-spec model’s N Sport trim. The N Sport is the sporty variant of Nissan models, similar to RS of Honda and GR-S of Toyota.

Currently, the PH-spec Nissan Kicks is available in three variants, namely the EL, VE, and VL. It still has room for an N Sport trim, and the crossover’s Autech edition could deliver that.
