History
In 1998, the British company was then sold to Volkswagen as BMW held the rights to the Rolls-Royce name and the trademark for all of the brand’s vehicles moving forward. BMW assumed the responsibility for Rolls-Royce cars in 2003. This merger led to the global expansion of the upscale brand, reaching various continents through exclusive distributorships worldwide.
Today, Rolls-Royce is not only acclaimed for the craftmanship of their vehicles, but as one of the world’s most prominent luxury brands. It has transcended the automotive industry, becoming a representation of wealth anywhere around the globe. The iconic emblem and the distinct design language of their vehicles have become a status symbol among high net worth individuals in society.
Development
Through their dedication to providing exceptional customer experience, Rolls-Royce raised the standards of service and professionalism in the automotive industry. They offer bespoke services to buyers worldwide, following the company’s objective of providing an unforgettable experience as the vehicles themselves.
Local presence
The British luxury brand made its way to the Philippines in March 2013 through British Bespoke Automobiles Inc. (BBAI) that operates under the Autohub Group. Locally, the company is known as Rolls-Royce Motor Cars Manila which is the official distributor of Rolls-Royce vehicles, parts, and provider of services in the country.
Maintaining the brand’s exclusivity, there is only one Rolls-Royce showroom in the Philippines which is located at the center of Bonifacio Global City, Taguig. Likewise, their sole service center in the country can be found along C-5.
