To show that the RAV4 can fit various tastes and customer needs, Toyota announced that it will be displaying three differently dressed-up examples of the car at the upcoming 2023 Tokyo Auto Salon.

The said event is scheduled to take place from January 13 to January 15, 2023 at the Mukuhari Messe in Chiba City. The three RAV4s meanwhile, will be customized models of the Japanese-spec RAV4 Plug-in hybrid (PHEV).
One of the Toyota RAV4 units will come with what the brand has dubbed the “Sporty Package.” It gets an alternate design for its headlamps, a new set of black-colored wheels, and other bits that enhance its looks during on-road driving.

Another is the PHEV-Offroad Package. As the name implies, it gets several bits that make it ready for taking on rough terrain and maybe even overlanding activities. Most of the said bits are aftermarket parts from well-known brands. For instance, its roof is fitted with a Yakima cargo rack.
Other parts added to the RAV4 PHEV-Offroad package are a set of different wheels wrapped in beefier tires. Also present for each wheel well are mudguards and positioned just behind the rear window is an exterior auxiliary fuel canister.

The RAV4-Offroad package likewise gets a tougher-looking front fascia featuring matte paint and more plastic cladding. Among the three, it undoubtedly comes with the most modifications.
The third one is probably the closest to the stock RAV4 PHEV. This is because its only additional part is the bumper from the existing Adventure package that’s available for the Japanese and American markets.

The Toyota RAV4 is a 5-seater compact crossover that is offered in the Philippines with a price that ranges from Php 2,289,000 to Php 2,632,000. The two variants for the RAV4 sold locally is the XLE 2.5 HEV CVT, and the LTD 2.5 HEV CVT.
Under the hood, this vehicle is powered by a 2.5-liter Dual VVT-I inline-4 gasoline engine working with an electric motor generator.
